April Fool jokes were many and varied in Anacortes yesterday and the citizen who did not “fall” for any or the good natured pranks, is an exception to the general rule. Quite a number are nursing sore toes from kicking at an innocent hat under which a brick nestled, candy with a chocolate exterior and soap or excelsior interior was passed around freely in the unsuspecting ones, persons were sent on fake errands or received April fool packages and some of the stunts dating back to the cave men, were perpetrated and found many victims.
