Anacortes served notice in Burlington last night that they'll be a force in the Northwest Conference, knocking off the defending Class 2A state champs 23-25, 26-24, 28-26, 25-15.
Mattie Keltner had 16 kills and Jessica Riddle had 14. Kiana Calles had 44 assists.
The Seahawks, who were fifth at state last year, play next at the Yakima Invitational on Saturday.
