The Seahawks downed Lakewood and Sehome at the Bi-District 2A Tournament in Bellingham Wednesday to qualify for the state tournament. They play Burlington-Edison, which has also clinched a state berth, for the bi-district title at 2 p.m. Saturday at Squalicum High School.
Anacortes opened with a 25-9, 25-10, 35-13 win over Lakewood, then edged Sehome in five sets in the semifinals: 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 24-26, 15-7.
