Anacortes got three singles wins but couldn't break through in doubles and fell 4-3 to visiting Squalicum Monday.
Singles winners were No. 1 Jared Wigen (6-2, 6-2), No. 2 Matt Irving (4-6, 6-3, 7-5) and No. 4 Eli Gallo (6-2, 6-4).
In doubles play Jared Douglas and Ben Bellusci almost turned the match, falling 6-4, 6-7(1), 7-5 in a tight three-set contest.
Anacortes plays at Burlington-Edison today at 3:45 p.m.
