Anacortes fell behind 7-0 in the top of the first, but then scored 10 runs in their turn at bat to pave the way for a 13-9 non-conference win Wednesday over the visiting Bulldogs.

Kayla Matthews and Kelci Douglas had home runs. Liz Crookes struck out eight of the nine batters she faced in relief.

The Seahawks are now 8-1 on the season.
