Anacortes’ Jamie Carroll had a round of 83 on May 7 to place fifth at the Skagit County Championships at Eaglemont Golf Course in Mount Vernon. Carroll finished seven shots behind the co-winners.
Paola Jurkovich has earned herself a spot in the Bi-District 2A Tournament.
Mackenzie Wight and Natalie Biernes each advanced in two individual girls events May 8 and May 10 at the eight-team Sub-District 2A Championships.
Anacortes won twice last week to earn a share of the Northwest Conference title.
Now the Seahawks (11-1 in conference, 15-5 overall) will see what they can do in the Bi-District 2A Tournament. Anacortes opens the tournament Wednesday in Lynden against Lake Washington.
