Sylvia Jane Barcott of Anacortes, Washington passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, April 12, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Barcott, son, Robert Barcott, daughters, Marilyn Geer and Maggie Barcott, grandchildren, Greg Barcott and Mollie Barcott, and her lifelong best friend, “Sis” Piche.
Sylvia is survived by her children, MaryLynne Barcott of Mount Vernon, Mark and Julia Barcott of Yakima, Dave Barcott of Anacortes, Frank and Dena Barcott of Anacortes, and Kathy Barcott-Stiller of Anacortes. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Mary Alice Fenno, 85, current resident of Lacey, Washington and former resident of Anacortes, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her home in Lacey.

It is with a sense of palpable regret that the family of Ann W. Nord must announce her death on March 29, 2013, after a brief illness. Her passing left a family stunned by the realization that a truly larger than life personality would no longer be sharing her unabiding love, wit, intellect, courage, indomitable spirit, and joy for life.
Ann was born November 16, 1935, in Yreka, California, to John and Gertrude Williams. She arrived in Anacortes with her husband in 1997 after a forty-five year period spent shaping a loving family and building close relationships with many dear friends, neighbors, and professional peers.
Barbara Hoover, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Anacortes, WA with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 17, 1924 in Yonkers, NY to Seth and Rosalie DeWitt. Barbara attended schools in Mechanicville, NY and spent two years of college in Albany.
On July 21, 1945 she married her high school sweetheart, Dick Hoover who preceded her in death on May 8, 1995.
They have five children Rick Hoover (Leslee) of Marysville, Paul Hoover (Carol) of Daphne, AL, Marge Milnor (John), of Mount Vernon, Nancy Llewellyn, MD (George) of La Conner and Pierce Hoover (Sharon) of LaConner. In addition to the five children, there are also thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Chester (Chet) Stephen Suver died peacefully at home in Anacortes, WA on April 4, 2013 of natural causes at the age of 89.
He was born on February 14, 1924 to Eileen Pauline (Kelly) and Harry Albert Suver in Ellensburg, Washington. He is a descendant of some of the early pioneers of Kittitas Valley.
Chet was an athlete at Ellensburg High School and soon after graduation moved to Seattle. A man typical of the greatest generation, Chet was solid, loyal, dutiful and above all resolute and constant in his attention to family.
Anita Edla Jackson, our beloved sister, left us on April 1, 2013 and is resting in her Savior’s arms, at peace and free from the cares of this world.
Anita was born September 9, 1949 to Edward Merion and Mary Christian (Boothe) Jackson in Long Beach, CA.
When she was 1 1/2, the family moved to Anacortes, WA where she spent all of her school years, graduating in 1967.
