Man gets three years for role in robbery Posted by Kimberly Jacobson | Sep 19, 2012 | 516 views

A 25-year-old Mount Vernon man was sentenced to three years in prison at a Skagit County Superior Court hearing Thursday for his role in the summer 2011 beating and robbery of an Anacortes man at his home.

Benjamin Lourenco previously pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary and rendering criminal assistance as part of a plea agreement.

Court records say he was the driver in the brutal home invasion. Two men invaded a man’s Gibralter Road home June 19, 2011, and beat him.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a fractured skull after an extensive assault involving several weapons, including a jigsaw, court documents say. They stole money and property.

Bryon Lourenco, 24, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery, all felonies. He was sentenced to more than seven years in prison.

Kelly Hackstock, 24, previously pleaded guilty to first-degree assault. He was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison.
