The smell of sulfur was very faint even at less than 100 feet away as the tons of sulfur piled up.

We were impressed by how the Port of Anacortes and its partners handled the first shipment of sulfur prills — about 140 truckloads in all — that went through the port’s marine terminal Sunday and Monday.
