Having the community step up and fund a new stadium and turf is positive in many ways.
This project totally blocks the view of 6 classrooms and the Library. Over 1,000 students each day will look out at a grey concrete wall where they currently enjoy one of the best scenic vistas in the city. This cannot happen. The bleachers/grandstands should be built at the current site of Rice field, combined with the sports comples at Volunteer Park. It is a natural. Rededicate the field , Memorial Field
A new high School should be built on the site of the current bleachers, with the student center facing the Cascades, Padilla Bay and our beautiful environs. the Kids deserve this amenity.
Who could knowlingly do this to future AHS students.
