There are good reasons why the Skagit County Emergency Medical Services Commission needs its six-year replacement levy to have a price tag that’s 50 percent higher than the one expiring this year. Voters should be able to see that Skagit EMS has a big financial hole to fill and understand OK’ing its request will ensure quality ambulance service will continue in Anacortes and the county.
