A few recent letters to the editor about a dustup between the mayor and a city councilman at the June 4 Anacortes City Council meeting make it apparent that a little tutorial is needed.

To set the stage, Councilman Ryan Walters attempted to put an item on the agenda for the next council meeting. The mayor objected and the back and forth heated up.

Who was right? I guess we should consider some of those pesky facts I often refer to.
