The Anacortes Spring Wine Festival 2012 on Saturday was a success, said Cecilie Miller, event and communications coordinator for the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce. Wine sales were double from a year ago, attendance was up and the feedback, especially on food quality, was positive.

With the sunny weather, attendees spilled out onto the dock at the Port of Anacortes Transit Shed Event Center to sip wine and watch ship traffic and Dakota Creek Industries crews working on a state ferry.
