The Anacortes Arts Festival announced the Fine Art Award winners at the Arts at the Port opening on Saturday.
Anacortes artist Anita Luvera Mayer received Best of Show in the 3D category for her fiber piece “Pathways.”
Stephen Cunliffe from Port Ludlow received Best of Show in the 2D category for a black and white photo “Adak Abandoned.”
Each received a $2,500 prize. The awards were chosen by juror Barbara Matilsky.
The T Baily Corporate Award, selected by Gene and Ruby Tanaka, was presented to Matt Sellars from Seattle for his wood sculpture “The Last Drop.”
The Festival partnered with the Port of Anacortes to purchase about $4,000 in photos from Kathy Hastings of Snohomish and Steven Johnson of Port Orchard through the Anacortes Collects program. The pieces will hang in the main Port offices.
Arts at the Port is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Thursday, then 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
